Dead Sweetheart

Angel finally came home, but she's not who she use to be. She doesn't smile the way she use to or even laugh. It comes out dry and broken; like a dusty record player that never stopped going. It's track's are so run out and it's gonna fall apart, but that's who Angel is. She's falling apart and no one cares because it's the way she's always been. Always will be. We'll have to nail her into her coffin and hope she never comes back up again because she always does. She's always been so resilient like that. Even in death, her own woes don't dig a hole deep enough.
